Best Toy For A Herding Dog EVER!!
We have a 3 year old Australian Shepherd that we adopted after he was surrendered back to his breeder at 1 year old for being "too obnoxious". He is NOT obnoxious, he is a herder. And he is BALL DRIVEN! We have a huge yard so our go-to has been to take him out 3 or 4 times a day with a Chuck-it and multiple balls and just throw and throw and throw until he's exhausted. This Boomer Ball is a total game changer. The second I pulled it out of the box, our herder, "Mr. Banks", went NUTS! Over the past few days, he has learned how to guide the ball to where he wants it, pushes it with his nose, pulls it with both paws, and brings it to me when I command. AND he plays happily by himself for...maybe not hours but...long enough to tire himself out, which is HUGE! I wish everyone with a herding dog could see what an amazing gift this ball is! 100% recommend!!

Excellent for chewers. Just don't kick it! Ouch!!!
My dog chews up even the hard Jolly Balls. He came destroy them, but the hurt to handle. This ball is so hard he can't get his teeth into it. He is a bully mix with Aussie Shepherd and he heards it like crazy. I tried to kick it. I won't make that mistake again. I only wish you sold one twice that size. He loves giant yoga balls but destroys them so fast.

I wish it was rubber
I bought this in hopes of it being an indestructible ball and it did not disappoint. The only thing I wish that was different is it is not rubber. I know it is a herding ball but I like to use it as a soccer ball, it is plastic so kicking it is not an option. I do enjoy this ball a lot other than that because he has not been able to ruin it.

Rottie & Dobbie approved!
Great product ! My dogs are super tired keeps them running around and the ball still intact. My Dobbie destroys every toy I get he finally met his match. I do recommend they are watched while playing because they go nuts with it. I also only let them play with it for about an hour and take it away because they don’t stop. The texture of the ball is really strong and I’m scared they will get hurt. Besides that it’s great.

My dog loves it
My dog loves this ball. I have a bulldog and she is absolutely obsessed with playing with it. And since it’s a bigger ball she can’t fit her mouth around it. She chases and can’t really chew/ destroy it, so overall great buy.

Hard plastic that when gouged may cut dogs gums
Trying to find a ball for a pit bull she can’t destroy the first 5 minutes. This one has lasted, but there’s so many scars on it with sharp hard plastic all over it I don’t let her play with it anymore as she’s cut her lips and gums. Also the size could be a little bigger - it got stuck in her jaw at a fully extended position a couple times. I had to bang it out her mouth

Perfect for Heelers!
I ordered one since I wasn't entirely sure if the size or ball would be suitable for my dogs, it's listed as large but with no measurements. I have two Australian Cattle Dogs (50lbs), and can confirm the large is the perfect size for them. It's a too large for them to chew or mouth but is lightweight and durable as advertised so they can easily push it.I'm both concerned and confused about the reviews stating the ball is too hard and hurting their dogs nose, it's meant to be pushed on the ground by the dog with its muzzle or paws and does so rather effortlessly. It's not meant to be tossed/kicked and headbutted or caught which is the only circumstance I can see this injuring your dog if they don't damage it and cause sharp plastic to become raised.I ordered a second one as both dogs were super happy to play with it. I really wish I knew these had existed sooner since they pop/destroy almost every other ball we've tried except the JW Hollee rollers but those are meant to be carried whereas this ball doesn't need active participation from the owner.

Virtually Indestructible Best Dog Toy !….. I think not
Don’t get me wrong, this dog toy gave my mutt hours upon hours of fun and mental stimulation !The ball lasted nearly 4 weeks before he achieved his mission in destroying it !Overall, well worth every penny and I’ve purchased another 2 since.

only been a couple days but they're loving it
Probably shouldn't have to say this...but since a lot of the low votes seem to about "doesn't bounce" or "can't pick it up" or "all they can do is roll it around and my dog doesn't want to do that"...read the descriptions. That is what it's for...it's not intended to be picked up. It's hard and it's heavy and it seems to be bullet proof. If you just thought it was an average dog ball-why did you pay 50 bucks for it? I've got two Rotties that can destroy a Kong in about 5 minutes but they can't seem to conquer this ball. They don't chew it because they cant get their jaws around it...not sure how some dogs are allegedly getting their teeth worn down. My only concern is staying out of their way when they start "dribbling" this thing around

Dangerous for a running herding dog...
In an enclosed small yard or a dog run this ball is indestructible. However your dog is likely not indestructible. My 32lb border collie/blue heeler mix (32 lbs and a fast runner/herder) LOVED to play and herd this ball in a large soccer/baseball field. Problem was that after a few weeks she developed a couple hematomas, one under the eye and one on her wrist. $300 in vet bills later the ball has been put away. Problem is this ball is HARD! and will injure your dog if they get up any speed as they hit it... You also cannot kick it without steel toed boots! Maybe in an enclosed yard this ball is safer but we will not be testing that theory . Was looking for something other than spending $5 a week on cheap Walmart basketballs which she eventually punctures. Wish this ball had a half inch of durable foam coating it. So don't buy it to throw this ball in an open field and have your dog chase/herd it..

I got the wrong idea on the ball
I thought it was gonna be a mid hard plastic so dogs can grab it but it’s super hand so my dog won’t even play with it
