Bought 6 of these Alexa-compatible bulbs for different spaces in my house. Mostly easy to set up with the Smart Life app and Alexa. There have been a couple of cases of the bulbs disconnecting from the WiFi when there have been no problems with the WiFi but luckily this has been rare.Decently bright, may light the whole room on the lighter colour settings however if you are using these lights as ambient lights it would probably be necessary to use a second one of them or a second light. All of the colours work and they are mostly accurate. Good white light.One of the cheapest solutions on the market, so taking that into consideration they really aren’t bad.

A bit fiddly to install it looked like I was having a rave for a good half hour while I was trying to sinc grr lights but well worth the effort. I’m sure if your WiFi is good you won’t have any trouble at all but my WiFi is very poor and overloaded so it struggled to connect I ended up siding the second method and that worked fine. The lights are fantastic and very responsive to commands. You can also use the smart app to change the lights from another location (I had great fun turning the colour of the lights while out and scaring my poor partner half to death. We have two lights in one room and you can sinc them to a group in the app so they turn on together I highly recommend this product and will be buying more.

I have all 4 of these bulbs dotted around the house, interspersed with Xiaomi yeelights. Bearing in mind I have mesh wifi (100MB/s) across the house, and the Yeelights never drop connection, all 4 of the Novostella bulbs persistently lose connection, which means when you try and switch them on, they continuously flash. The only way to stop this is to re-add them via the app, which is v.annoying for both me & the other members of my house. The bulbs themselves (when they do work) are quite warm (yellow/orange) and not particularly bright compared to the Yeelights. Tried contacting their 'customer support' - but no response 3 months on. Would definitely NOT recommend and will be replacing with Yeelights asap

You get what you pay for.I’ve been using these lights for six months now. 3 out of 8 have failed completely, one never worked at all.They don’t dim very low, they’re still pretty bright at the lowest warm setting for my taste.Other than that, they’re not actually too bad. But you have to buy twice as many as you need because of the failure rate.

Ok long story short,They do not colour match with the 13w version the sell. So don’t buy both.Works with Alexa and google home in the same house. Set up is easy.Now for the main problem, one came not working. And you have to return all four for a full refund. (No replacement).Having bought both, just go for the 13w every where. They are more expensive but you have so much more control over the amount of light you want.

We love these light bulbs. Can be turned on and off via phone and routines can be set so they can go on or off whenever needed.They have setting to suit different environments. One that is loved most in our household is the colour changing. The kids have a disco every morning in their room.Easy to install although WiFi signal is poor in our upstairs room so had the install them downstairs and them move them to other rooms.

what can i say except these are brilliant for a household with asd and sensory issues. I now have my hall/boys rooms/living room and even my own room is all able to be personalized to the individual and let me tell you when they all have their own specifications it comes in handy. Not only are they perfect for that but my kids are the worst for switching lights off behind them and not being fully mobile myself it is the worst. Having these bulbs they are all connected to ALEXA and i can make sure all are off at a certain time.

They are a good gadget I love them I put one in the hall, two in the living room and one in the kitchen, they were working great but then the bedroom started flashing after about 3 months, the instructions said to reset it so I did that but it only lasted for 2 more days and then it would even come on at all no mater what I tried. I reported it to Amazon but they didn't get back to me after the first and second person I spoke to which I wasn't pleased about but the other 3 are still going strong.
