Mine looked a bit different than the illustration but all of the functionality is there. This is my second pet gear backpack. The first one I picked up used at a flea market just to see if my cat would tolerate it. He did even though at sixteen pounds he was a tight fit and the carrier was too small for anything but the shortest of trips. Unfortunately, it was nearly worn out when I bought it so it didn't last. I bought this one for my new, ten pound cat. Perfect fit.This is great for trips around town on foot or by bus. I'm not sure if I will use it when we fly (for cabin use only) or if I will stick with my medium Sherpa carrier which will give her more room to move in.

We have two dogs...one a 10 pound toy fox terrier and one an eight pound chiuaua-ish mix. Both dogs fit well, even though one is a bit taller and longer than the other. Because the sides and front are all mesh, they can see out easily in any direction and seemed quite comfortable! Neither of our pups have ever been in a carrier like this so I was surprised they adapted so easily and quickly! Also, it fit perfectly under the seat in front of us on the airplane! We flew Frontier Airlines, which flies mostly Airbus 319s and it was an easy fit under the seat. I also thought the quality of the carrier was better than expected. No complaints...only used it once, but it should last a while with our minimal usage (once a month).

I'm happy it arrived so quickly after I ordered it. I would recommend the seller.As for the product, it was easily approved for carry-on on a plane but honestly it was still too small for my cat (my cat is <10 lbs). I had to leave the bag door open for her to be comfortable in the flight which wasn't a problem since she had a lease. It's ok for when I have her on my back but it's to narrow on the floor of a airplane for her to be comfortable (which the carrier is laying on the floor). Too bad. I was hoping to use it more than once. I'd recommend it for very small pets like kittens or puppies. Not a regular size adult pet though.

About 7 weeks ago while at the vet I saw a woman leaving with a backpack holding her cat. I took a double take not knowing there was such a product. As soon as I got home I investigated on Amazon. My cat, Itty Bitty is 12 years old & weighs only 6 lbs. & after investigating the 3 different size backpacks I chose this one (the smallest) because my cat is so small. I love it, it's light enough & yet sturdy too. My only concern is the mat that my cat sits on is not too plush so I put a small blanket inside to make it more comfortable for Itty Bitty. I walk with 2 canes & have braces on my legs & I would recommend this to anyone who's physically challenged.

I brought my 10 lb cat on a 15 hour flight, when I moved to another country. The netting on three sides gave my cat adequate ventilation. The carrier is sturdy, yet lightweight, 4-5 lbs. It's nice looking, well designed and well-priced. The telescoping handle is plenty long enough for me at 5'7" and is more stable with two telescoping rods, rather than a single central rod. The wheels are larger than another carrier which I had ordered, then returned. I still use it as a rolling shopping bag or day pack.

It was smaller then advised.. Had to send it back..

My whack-a-doodle yorkie mix does very well in this. She seems to really like it as she settles down quickly. It may be because she is close to me. It is very comfortable, but I really like that I can also drag her like a suitcase.

The backpack was good quality but was to small for our 10 pound cat causing her nose to rub on the tough screen and scratch.

I have back problems and this carrier is a must have. It's light, and makes transporting my cat very easy. Super comfortable, but be careful when picking the right size. My 3kg cat fits perfectly with room for her to loaf and sit, but any bigger and she wouldn't fit.Overall quality is great. I like the fact that it has lots of pockets to put her leash and emergency items in.

La mochila es excelente para perros pequeños. Esta mochila la uso mucho para transportar a mi perrito de raza Papillón en transporte público donde es necesario llevarlo bien protegido: taxi, metro, metrobús, autobús.La mochila es ligera y de un buen tamaño, lo único malo es que las ruedas lastiman un poco cuando cargas la mochila en la espalda, pero nada grave.Es importante que sepan que sólo caben perros o mascotas pequeños, el mío pesa 4.3 kgs y tiene 3 años, lo comento para que les pueda servir de referencia para calcular si su mascota cabe bien en esta mochila.Cuando va sentado le va muy bien, cabe perfectamente; pero cuando quiere ir descansando acostado le es un poco incómodo, no alcanza a recargar su cabecita al hacerse rollito en la mochila.En cuanto el material de la mochila se me hace algo corriente pero sí es resistente.La mochila definitivamente no es para viajes largos.Otra cosa es que esta mochila también la compré para transportarme en bicicleta con mi perrito pero tanto al ponérmelo sobre la espalda o en el pecho va en ángulos muy forzados y hace que mi perro no vaya cómodo ni recargado en el piso de la mochila como se supone que tendría que ir, y va molesto en una mala posición, así que sólo no lo recomiendo para ir en bicicleta o transportarlo para viajes largos.En general me gusta mucho esta mochila, y funciona para lo que es, sólo quise ser muy detallada en sus funcionalidades. Ojalá les sirva a ustedes esta reseña para el momento de realizar su compra :)

Está excelente para viajar !! Llegó en perfectas condiciones, y un día antes de lo anunciado en la página! Mi perrito pesa alrededor de tres kilos así que cabe perfectamente, se puede mover dentro de ella pero tendría cuidado en un perro de mayor peso

Si tu gato es macho, no lo compres. Sirve para una gatita pequeña, pero a mi gato no le sirve por el tamaño.
