Maybe it's just me, but the search continues for my perfect long-leg panty...
I've been looking for the perfect long-leg panty, and I thought this might be the one. But no, the search continues. The good:1) it's mostly cotton so it's cooler than the polyester or nylon briefs2) it doesn't loosen around the leg but keeps its form for a close hug around the thigh3) it has a high rise so I don't have to worry about muffin tops or lines on the hip, like low-rise boy shorts. The not-so-good, and this is not just this panty but many others like it:This panty is a bit better than the horrible one that has a thick cross seam centered on your crotch. Instead it has a gusset strip that runs from one leg to the other, right across the crotch. However, that is not a good solution either because the gusset still folds in the center, getting into places where it shouldn't be, giving me an uncomfortable camel toe (though not as horrible as the cross seams). See photo. Can I use it? Sure, but probably only for a few hours at a time, or it starts chafing in the crotch. I can also use it just as undershorts, with a regular panty underneath, but then that defeats the purpose. The gusset should run from the belly button down to the crotch and up the back, so that it does not fold in the center. Basically a long-leg panty should be a regular panty with legs added. Why can't anyone make that?? I'm tempted to do it myself!

At last!
After trying numerous brands of long-leg underwear, finally I've got what I want! Eureka! I was looking for something to sleep in. I've developed an allergy to elastic and that fishing-line type thread in some clothing. These have good old-fashioned thread and a covered elastic band around the waist, which is much looser than other brands. Exceedingly comfortable for me--some people have complained about it, and I might too if I still had a waist, but I don't have much of one, so this is perfect for me. The biggest deal on the other brands was the legs riding up. The legs on these do not ride up. In fact, they don't even move and not a speck of elastic in them--just hemmed (with real thread) and long enough to stay put. I live in a very hot climate, so 100% cotton is essential to me--these have that, too. They also have the gusseted crotch. They are 100% comfortable. Perfect! I just bought more. I wish you could get them in packs of the light colors or maybe white, but really these are so great I don't care. Now to the dumpster with all those other ones, and it's quite a collection too, I might add...

Very Good!
Soft and comfortable shorts. Easy wash and machine dry. My sister and I tried these for a while, certain that they would ride up a little when walking around. That wasn't a problem though.I like these better than the tighty shorts. Better than the shorts I thought about wearing instead. The elastic is smooth and soft. They are very durable and soft to the touch. The cotton fabric is thick enough for me and soft, like they should last longer.- Wide and comfortable cotton crotch. I love that!- The legs are the perfect lengthy to avoid chafe- Good stitching- Plenty soft- Nothing has faded after several laundriesI hope that there is more elastic in the fabric. The seller is very nice and told me that they are doing that!Love these shorts underwear till now. Comfortable. No chaffing!

Exactly what I was looking for!
🚨If you’re looking for shorts to wear UNDER skirts or tunics, for the purposes of preventing chin rub, these are the ones you’re looking for!🚨 I’m not usually in the habit of posting pictures of my backside on Amazon but I felt a review that covers a few issues was needed.First of all, YES, these really are 95/5 (or thereabouts) cotton spandex, NOT polyester, unlike a lot of fraudulently described items on here. I have a sensitivity to most synthetic fibers but thankfully not spandex/lycra, and after a few washes and wears and a burn test I can confirm this is legit.Second, a few users have mentioned that the material is see-through. If you’re someone who’s usually comfortable wearing leggings as pants and looking to wear the BLACK shorts by themselves, you’ll probably be happy with the opacity (but remember that the more this kind of fabric is stretched, the more see-through it is - size up if you plan to wear these by themselves). You can see how much I had to crank up the brightness in that photo to demonstrate the point of translucence. And obviously, for the paler colorways, including nude, dark undies are going to show through. Never met a single-ply cotton-spandex blend garment for which this wasn’t true; please have realistic expectations for fabric.Third, these ARE long enough to get past the point where most thighs rub, and they DO NOT roll up! I’m very impressed with how good they are at this part of their job. Finally: These are clearly what are known as “safety shorts” in China/Korea/Japan, a garment meant to preclude up-skirt creepshot photography (which is why they’re described as underwear on the package, and the seemingly 100% cotton thigh gusset suggests they can totally be worn alone without underwear underneath), being marketed to western consumers as bike shorts. If you need a stand-alone garment, buy something else - but if you’re looking for safety shorts/chub rub prevention, these are excellent. I bought myself nine pairs. Good luck!

Hs skin disorder sufferer is in love
I've bought alot of things since I came down with HS skin disorder. This maybe my favorite thing Ive bought yet.Soft. Keeps thighs from getting irrated.Fits under clothes pretty well not exactly like nylon but I have to stick with cotton due to hs.So for me I'm just grateful to have something to wear. Not see through. I would wear them in public as shorts with a long shirt no problem.Or under dresses.Fit was slightly loose but I'm always afraid of things running small I just made a second order and did go down a size but I prefer things a little loose compared to being to tight to use at all. So still happy.

Anti chafing shorts
These have become one of the best things I ever bought. After putting on a bit of weight and experiencing very uncomfortable chafing, these have been a godsend. They don’t roll down or ride up. They are perfect. I am going to be buying more when I can afford it.

Actually perfect
All I wanted was a pair of shorts to wear under my summer dresses so I feel confident to sit on the carpet at school without having to choose awkward angles for fear that my kiddies would see my underwear. Searched high and low for something that wouldn't be seen. Couldn't be more perfect.

Great buy for underwear not sportswear
Very happy with these, no more chafing! Comfortable and no elastic cutting in anywhere. I'm a UK 16 and bought the size 16-18, which is a superb fit. They don't roll down at the front, nor down at the back when you sit or bend over. The cotton is very soft, and the hems on the legs are flat, but not so tight that you can see the hemline beneath leggins. However the cotton is fairly thin and I wouldn't wear these as shorts as they're not opaque enough, but for underwear - just perfect. They ARE gusseted, but not a diamond-shaped gusset like you might expect, it's a rectangular gusset that runs up the inside of one thigh and down the other. The benefit to this is that there's no centre seam inside the leg to rub against the other side. I'm impressed with these and will buy again.

Love these
I usually avoid wearing skirts because my skin gets super irritated from rubbing, and i don't like wearing panty hose in the summer. I've been looking for something like this to wear under skirts, or to bed. These are Perfect! They are so comfortable and don't ride up.

So comfy
I bought these initially as I'd just had a hip replacement and my knickers were irritating the scar. They don't roll up on the leg or more importantly, they don't roll at the waistband. I now use them at the gym under my leggings
