Game Changer!
I am in month 4 with my immediates and have been using fixodent max hold. I've had many issues with the adhesion and longevity of the fixodent and it appearing to be water soluble. It did what it needed to do but was a constant hassle with seepage, and removing the glue from my gums and dentures. This product is FAR SUPERIOR! Feels like it instantly bonds and stays in place with no movement and manageable seepage. No issues with drinks or eating at all, thus far. It's super tight, comfortable and reliable thus far. Extremely noticeable difference.Dry your denture tray well with a paper towel or some rolled up toilet paper, put the recommended amount on it. Use a paper towel to dry your gum lines (don't lick afterwards) and apply. A small suck to set in place and hold in place with your fingers for 30 seconds. Follow the recommended guidelines for food and water, 15 minutes I think. You will feel a noticeable but mild tingling/burning sensation but it goes away quickly. I believe that's that bonding and waterproofing agent activating against your gum line and denture. All that said, I would recommended this to anyone. Keep in mind we're all different and my experience may not be yours. This works 1000% for me and restores a lot of confidence!Tip: Use the Secure Brand cleaning tabs as well. Gels up the remaining adhesive as it soaks and rinses right off! No issues! I use hot water (tap hot). Submerge the dentures and drop in. Super easy!I know I sound like I'm a shill but I'm not. I'm just grateful that this works so well for me and want to share my experience.Find what works for you! Good luck!

LOVE this adhesive!! Finally found the one for me
I have been using this adhesive for 3 days now and, so far, I love it!! I am a fairly new denture wearer… I just got my upper denture 1 month and 12 days ago. Since I’ve been healed enough for adhesive, I’ve went through a lot of them trying to find what works best for me. I’ve tried the Fixodent Max Hold Ultra, the Poligrip strong hold powder, the equate zinc free super hold in the pink tube, powder and paste together, and most recently the new Denttach Gold. And this, by far, is the best I’ve used. I put it on in the morning after my cup of coffee, and my denture holds all day. I have eaten oily meatloaf with this, and drank soda and tea, and it still holds until I get ready to take my teeth out. I like the fact that it’s a beige color so it doesn’t show through the denture if it smushes up. And it is so easy to clean off my gums, with other adhesives I would spend at least 20mins a night getting it off. With this, it’s off in less than 2 mins and I’m not even joking. I was able to eat corn on the cob with this adhesive on and my denture didn’t move or rock the first time. The tube is a decent size, so you get a good amount for the money. I only ordered 1 tube to try it, but I will be ordering more to stock up. You don’t have to use much because a little goes a long way. I apply it in short strips; 1 on each side, 1 in front and 1 on my palette. Then I take a q-tip and spread it around like the directions say you can do. Then I pop it in, bite down for about 10-20 secs, and then I’m done! Cleaning the white residue people talk about isn’t hard for me either… I soak my denture every night in polident overnight whitening tablets, and in the morning the white residue is a jelly like substance that just washes off under running water when I rinse them. All in all I couldn’t be more satisfied with this and will order more. I definitely recommend to give this a shot.

The best there is
I’m new to the denture game and have been trying many products including the brand new poligrip ultimate, which is ultimately garbage (didn’t even hold for 45 minutes, but that’s a different story). Secure is awesome, it holds all day long and into the next day. I love the fact that this adhesive is the only one that absorbs saliva and expands to fill in the gaps. The only complaint I have about secure is that eating anything oily will break the bond. Mine pop loose every time I eat a Twinkie, Twinkie's are really oily and will kill the adhesion. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by this because the instructions even say for removal swish vegetable oil in your mouth. Problem with that is most foods have oil in them. Definitely don’t go to the fair and order anything deep fried to eat. What I find that really helps is sprinkling some polident powder over top of the secure. The poli isn’t affected by the oil and gives you a backup adhesion, but the poli by itself doesn’t last long at least not for me. (I’m still in the first several months of healing) powder is good when the dentures are tight, my gums are still quickly changing so I have gaps between the denture and the gums and the secure fills those gaps. I’d really love to see secure make a powder. Another downside is the secure can be difficult to remove from the denture, so if you’re out and about and your denture pops off, you’re out of luck. It takes me several minutes of scrubbing to get the secure off with my denture brush and Dawn. Who carries all this stuff around with them? That said, I also have a soft reline and secure works best with a hard reline according to their FAQ. Silicone which is what a soft reline is, is not adhesive friendly but secure latches on fairly well. I don’t believe I will ever find a better product.
