This seems to be a well-made item. With a bit of careful pulling (in addition to the screw adjustment), the cage can be opened up enough to hold just about any water bottle, while also remaining small enough at its fully closed position to hold a standard bike bottle securely. This item's one fault is the handlebar mount, which apparently was built under the assumptions that all handlebars are the same diameter and that 2 metal surfaces rubbing together won't result in one of them being damaged. I'm debating whether I want to keep it... and if I do, I'll have to buy a larger-diameter mount with a protective sleeve inside in order to avoid further scraping up the matte finish on my bike.

I was looking for a mount to carry a second water bottle. I was able to mount this one on my handlebar. Easy to reach ... no more reaching down to grab a bottle, while praying you don't fall over. I use the top bottle until it's empty and then switch them out.

Order the 2 pack for the kid's bikes. Installation was pretty easy. I put it on their handle bars. The holder is very sturdy. I was able to tighten it really good. You can adjust the size of the bottle holder. Only complain I have is we use metal bottles and it scratches against the metal cage. This is the most sturdy ones I have seen so far for handle bars.

I recently purchased a couple of insulated water bottles for my wife and me and they didn't fit the previous water bottle cages I had. The Lumintrail cages work pretty well. They don't seem all that sturdy until you put the water bottle in them and then everything seems tight and secure. I am glad that something like these are available to hold something other than the typical soft plastic water bottles generally associated with bikes. Would purchase again.

I just took the back screw to use with another plastic holder and combination was wonderful: thumbler doesn’t fall and doesn’t scratch cause new holder is plastic.

I bought this for my son’s bike because there is no place on his frame to mount a water bottle cage. We mounted this cage to his handle bars and he is very happy with the results. Now he does not have to carry his bottle in a backpack when he goes for a ride.

The black plastic piece ensures that the water bottle stays snug and keeps the noise to a minimum when cycling in rough terrain. Since I can adjust the metal piece, I am able to fit a larger water bottle without having to bend the metal. This is by far the best water bottle cage I've ever owned. EVER.

I was looking for an over-sized bottle holder and the advertised dimensions looked like this would work. Unfortunately, in order to fit my bottle it was necessary to remove one of the adjusting screws altogether, leaving it feeling insecure. It's working so far, but I'm afraid it's going to work it's way out over time
