Good purchase for surface scratches! Easy!
Had a small child kick his door open while I was backing out. It left a long scratch down the side of my car. His mom who was on the other side of the car told me to buff it out and walked away. Well not having a buffer handy and also angry, I went here and found this product. It WORKS! It took me three applications and a little elbow grease but I am happy to say that the long white scratch on my charcoal car is almost (ALMOST) invisible! Next we are going to try covering up a scratch on my daughter’s car. 100% would but again.

ease of use
This product worked wonderfully. It took a couple of applications, but it made all of my surface scratches disappear and they have not come back.

Helped but didn't completely fix scratch.

A waste of time and money
It does not work on scratches. I have scratches on my fine scratches on my vehicle and purchased this product hoping the scratches would be less noticeable, but it does not work. The product made no difference.

Results do not last
I read a lot of reviews before buying this, but Scratch out really is the go-to product. Someone left a 7 foot scratch down to the metal on my shiny new truck. This made the scratch nearly invisible with maybe six minutes of easy work. Most of that six minutes was just letting the product dry to a haze before buffing it off with a cloth. Easy, cheap, and effective.Update: this product did work well at first, but the effect wears off quickly. After a few days or a single rainstorm the scratch reappears. This is like putting makeup on a scar. It does not fix the problem and does not last.

Perfect
It worked incredibly well and did not hurt the paint. I used it on my new truck. Read reviews online first….was worried. It was like a miracle.

Great Value
An auto body shop gave me an estimate of in excess of $1,500 for 20 hours of labor over 3 days to clears some scratches. I fixed about 98% of the problem myself with this product and 90 minutes of effort. Highly recommended!

Look elsewhere. Causes more microscratches than it fixes.
I have detailed my own vehicles as well as family vehicles for 30+ years. I really only use hand applied products for my detailing. I tried this product based on some external reviews and was disappointed. I was looking for a product that would removed microscatches or swirl marks visible is direct light. This actually made the test clear coated paint surface worse than when I started. I used my go-to old reliable products to correct the additional scratches this caused. My go-to products are Meguiar’s ScratchX 2.0 and the slightly less effective Turtle Wax Scratch & Swirl Remover. Use a good, soft, clean microfiber cloth for application and removal. Finish it up with a good couple of coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Cermaic Spray Coating to protect. Depending on how bad the scratches are, you may have to apply the scratch remover 2-3 more times to improve it. I cannot speak to the end result if your scratches are deeper into the paint or down to the bare metal. I typically fix bare metal scratches with touch paint/clear coat first and address the nearby micro scratching/swirls after the touch-up paint has cured long enough. I believe this Scratch Out product is too abrasive for micro scratches/swirling. If unsure, always start with a small, more concealed area, if possible. Good luck!
