Ear Thermometer for Kids, Baby Thermometer with Ear and Forehead Mode for Adults, Kids and Objects, Digital Ear Thermometer with Accurate 1 Second Reading Fever Alarm and Large LCD Display

I tested my and my wife’s temperature alternately several times. It always measured mine at 97.1 and hers at 97.4 three times and 97.3 once. I had been sitting at a table underneath a ceiling fan before taking the measurements. After about 10 minutes, I tested my forehead again, and the thermometer reported 97.4 degrees.We have 2 digital oral thermometers, and I used them to test the accuracy of this thermometer. The first (ReliOn) read 97.5 degrees (orally) and I then tested using this forehead thermometer and got a reading of 97.6 degrees. I tried the second thermometer (Allegiant), received an oral temperature measurement of 97.6 degrees, and then measured again with this forehead thermometer, and got 97.6 degrees again. With the results of this test, I will have no problem using this thermometer instead of an oral thermometer for taking my family’s temperatures.This unit is also able to measure the temperature of random objects and I checked it with a few things around the house, (wall, plastic toy, etc.) and the measurements it gave were very near the thermostat setting for the air conditioner, so those measurements appeared reasonable as well.

This product is super easy to use, and it seems well-built, I just have a slight issue with the accuracy. Comparing it to oral thermometers it seems to be off by .5 degrees high or low. It’s still accurate enough to realize if you have a fever or not, but I’m a stickler for accuracy on clocks, outdoor thermometers, and such. If it were super accurate I would give it five stars but I think it’s still worth the money

The digital thermometer is so easy to use. I understand digital thermometers typically read 0.5F low at the forehead. But try pointing into either ear! I get readings ranging from 98.4-98.8F, closest to normal body temperature of 98.6F, by simply pointing into the ear. I highly recommend this product. Good price too.

I've purchased 6 different no touch thermometers for work since March. This is the first one I purchased for home use. It's as easy to use and as quick and accurate as much more expensive ones purchased earlier in 2020. It works as well as the 2 provided to my company by our local health department.I would absolutely buy it again.

I'm an elementary school teacher, so as an essential worker, I needed something on-hand for my students without asking the principal to borrow his all the time, haha. It shipped very quickly, and I was happy about that because I needed it today (Monday, March 15th). I'm cool now that I have my own "themomater" as my second graders incorrectly annunciate. Thanks so much for a simple gadget!

Update: after using the thermometer for a little while I started to get consistent readings. I don't know why the initial readings were all over the place, but now the readings have become stable.Original thoughts: out of the box I tried several different back to back readings of my forehead temperature. Unfortunately, I got a wide range( 97.6 to 100.9.) Temperature readings inside of my ear were more consistent. I'm not sure if I was doing anything wrong in getting my forehead readings, but I'm going to do some more testing. The thermometer is really easy to use and very fast. I hope I can find a way to get consistant accurate readings.

The forehead & ear thermometer works great. It is quick & accurate. All you do it start in the middle of your forehead & keep contact while moving it to your temple. If you are using it in your ear you just stick it in your ear & push the button. Very simple! I wish I had this when my kids were little.

This thermometer is so easy to use, just push the button and done. The little switch for Celsius/ Fahrenheit is both handy and out of the way so you do not switch accidentally.Well worth the money and performs like instant read thermometers selling for far more. Also, just remove the cap and it becomes an ear thermometer just like that
