First time I used this gel I thought(like some other reviewers) this stuff is way too thick and gooey, so I set it aside and figured I would just give it away since it wasn’t that expensive…….$8.99 when I purchased this fairly large bottle. A couple weeks later on a whim I wanted to try it again for some reason and I’m really glad I did. This is the stuff professional barbers/hair stylists use for straight shaves and fancy razor hair cuts so that should tell you something. This gel is extremely concentrated, literally cover a finger tip with it(a small coins worth)and it’s enough to do your entire face! You just need to keep adding water to the area you are shaving until you get it to your desired consistency. For the people with extremely sensitive skin this is probably the best protection from the blade you will ever find. I use a Henson safety razor(haven’t tried a multi bladed cart yet) and could literally shave everyday with minimal to no irritation with this gel. I’ve always had to wait a few days to shave again because my face would get so torn up, but not with this stuff. I see the price fluctuates with this stuff like most things on Amazon and even at $20 a bottle this stuff is still worth it since this bottle will last well over a year for most and probably several years for some. Aftershave is optional since this stuff leaves your face nicely moisturized after rinsing it off.

This product is very thick and it doesn't seem to loosen up much with water...It does seem to do well with my razor and a little bit goes a long waySmell good too.

I'm not a fan of shaving creams, except for when they don't work! I was not impressed when I saw the clear contents of this gel. I thought it would take all the bottle's contents for just one shave. I was SOOO wrong. This gel is fabulous. With just a little on my fingertips I can cover my entire face and get a nice, smooth shave. I was worried about the typical razor burn that I get with other gels, but that was not the case with the E Elegance gel. It really goes a long way. In fact, when I was putting it on my face I was almost annoyed that it seemed impossible to get it off my hands. But that's just how well it spreads and adheres to skin.I thought I would not like being able to see the normal lines that one sees with shaving lotions, but that's really not a problem at all. I mean, I'm not in high school anymore and so I can keep up with the areas I've already gone over.I like the fresh meant smell of this product, but I typically end with an application of Noxzema to my face. Still, at least the scents do not combat each other. I highly recommend this product.

hard to pump from bottle. thick gel that's hard to get on and wash off. diluted it with water and then applying like an extra wasted step. won't be using gel again!

Very good shave gel that is transparent for easy to see shaving and lines. Comes out super thick and to get the bottle started and primed do a bunch of small half pumps till gel comes out of the pump tip. Once started pump slowly because of the thickness. Apply to face then you MUST re wet face and gel with water to activate the slickness of the gel other reviews must of not read the directions if you do not add water after applying the gel it will be sticky thick and will gum up your razor .... Once the gel is wet it is super slick and glides easily. Minimal ingredients, large size, moisturizing, light scent that is unisex and a price that is amazing. Very good product and highly recommended

I'll start by saying this did give me the closest shave I have had in my 43 years on this planet. However the super slick skin doesn't detract from the fact that clear gel is f'n stupid. Did I already apply it here? I don't know. Did I shave this part of my head already? I don't know. Did I wipe/wash it all off? I don't know. I shave my head and most of my face. I NEED to know where the gel is applied. I NEED to know where I've already shaved. I have sensitive skin, I NEED to know if there's any residue left on my face. While it does do an amazing job of protecting and lubricating the skin, you have no idea what you're doing.Also, this item was purchased with 2 other items. The 2 other items were shipped next day, after 3 days of no shipment of the gel I went to cancel it. Amazingly as soon as I did the item shipped. Lazy warehouse? I dunno, but not what I expect from an Amazon seller.If this was visible, and if they would ship on time I would give 5 stars. As it is not visible and I had cancel the order for them to ship it...meh. *At the time of writing I am not able to upload photos.
