Works for crowd of 6 to 8
The pan is easy to clean. Heat distribution is probably dependent on your heating source. I found this size pan was just at the outer limit to use on my stove top. Next time I'll cook the chicken in a separate pan as it took too long to cook in a 'one dish' recipe. The pan is not completely flat on the bottom, but works well on a gas range. Overall I enjoyed using the pan... this is my first attempt at traditional paella and I will definitely be using the pan again.

Awesome pan. Buy bigger than you think you need
I bought the paella pan to make a birthday dinner. The pan was great. I did have some minor sticking, not sure if I used enough oil in the beginning stages. The paella came out wonderful. The only problem I had was I should have bought a bigger pan, which I am looking at now for gatherings. The stuck on rice was easy to clean up, so it wasn't really an issue.

Created a bad meal so no deal
I bought this pan to make seafood paella. However, I wasn't pleased with it's quality. It's material of it is too thin and it doesn't distribute heat well.I have an electric stove-the kind with the two large and two small coil burners. So I attempted to cook the dish over one of the large burners due to the size of the pan. Since the pan doesn't conduct heat well, in some areas of the pan the food was cooking and in other areas the food wasn't cooking at the same rate. I bought the pan so that when the dish was almost done, I could let the rice crust at the bottom; which is characteristic to authentic paella. Well, let's just say, it didn't turn out like I had hoped. Just to be clear, I'm a good cook and I've used larger pans on my stove top than that one and the meals turned out great. So I blame the pan!!! I sent it back.

Great product + stellar customer service
I bought this for a friend from Spain who missed cooking paella in a proper pan - and if he gave it two-thumbs up I assume he knows what he's talking about. The enamel surface is super smooth and rice at the bottom crisps up nicely ("amazing socarrat"), and cleaning after was also a breeze compared to steel pans.Tip: the 15 inch version straddles roughly two stove burners (out of 4), which will leave enough space to be working on other stuff while the rice cooks.

Great Pan - Serves 8
This pan makes great Paella. It serves about 8 people. It heats evenly and the bottom got crispy but not burnt. I have made it twice after taking a class in Malaga, Spain. This is the same kind of pan they used in our class. It is very easy to clean. Just let it sit with hot soapy water for about an hour and everything comes off easily. I am very happy I ordered this pan because you cannot make Paella without the proper tools and rice.

Great product with reasonable price.
It is authentic pan for Paella. I don't cook Paella often, but this is good for my need. I had a lot of complements from my friends for the Paella I cooked using this pan. Recommended to anyone

threw it all in and it turned out absolutely amazing. I even got two thumbs up from both ...
I bought this purely because I fancied having a go at a traditional paella. there are so many conflicting recipes/videos out there I didnt know which one to follow. Not being a chef, I basically took a bit of advice from all of them , threw it all in and it turned out absolutely amazing. I even got two thumbs up from both kids, which is saying something when dad cooks.I was tempted to go for a 60cm pan in case we wanted to entertain friends aswell. But I settled for the 40cm enameled pan which is more than enough to feed 8 people. It cooks the paella to perfection. I used it over the barbecue to get a nice even heat source. When it came to cleaning it, well 2 minutes hot water soak and a quick whizz round with a brush and scourer, it came up like new. When it came out of the packaging initially i was a little concerned that the base was slightly convex meaning it had a low point in the middle which meant it could be spun round on its centre axis very easily which turned out to be a bonus when adding ingredients and stirring.I would highly recommend this product, it does exactly what I would expect it to and very well too.

Decent budget paella pan
Used it once since it arrived. Seems sturdy, is large and well made. Not non-stick as such so be careful when cooking but otherwise, can’t knock if for the price.
