Great alternative to paper napkins
Recently I went through our budget to see where we could make cuts. Along the same lines, I was trying to think of how to be less wasteful. I decided to try cloth napkins. I'm not sure if this is saving money over paper napkins. It may take years before I break even. However, I feel much better not throwing napkins away, and am shocked at how much better cloth napkins are for wiping your hands and face! I guess I'd used them so rarely before this purchase I didn't realize how much more effective they are than paper! So far I have laundered them a few times a week, and they are holding up nicely. The size is excellent as well. They have not faded and the fabric seems to be holding up nicely. I went with black thinking they may not stain as easily, however I forgot I have a light-colored dog so occasionally I find a dog hair stuck to it! they seem to attract hairs, threads, and lint. Not sure if it's because of their black color or the fabric are made out of. But they work well and I'm happy with the purchase.

Lint Attractor
These are good napkins if you don't have a house with a long haired dog. I have tried everything in the laundry universe to make the lint stay off of these. They attract lint more than any other fabric product I have ever owned. Probably a nonsensical complaint to most people, but something to keep in mind.Decent napkins aside from this, so if it's not an issue in your home, I'd recommend them.

Great Everyday Alternative to Paper Napkins
I ordered two packs of these during COVID-19 because I couldn't find napkins or paper towels in the stores or online. I didn't have a high expectation of the quality based on the mixed reviews. They were packaged nicely upon receipt. I washed them for the first time, promptly took them out of the dryer and folded them (1/3 each direction to make a perfect square to fit my napkin holder). Yes - some were more wrinkled than others but that was only 2-3 out of the entire package. Otherwise, they folded nice and were wrinkle-free enough for my liking (if you want a crisp, truly wrinkle-free napkin, you will have to iron them!) My husband was skeptical at first, but after the first 2 meals of using them, he was quite pleased and actually requested that we use them in place of paper napkins permanently. I recently washed/bleached the first load of dirty napkins, which had a few stains from my son, and all but one or two came out perfectly white with no sign of stains. I feel that they will hold up for quite some time. A bonus is that I'm finally getting my son in the habit of putting his napkin on his lap - I told him to pretend like he's at a fancy restaurant when at the dinner table! Overall, I'm very pleased with the size, absorbency and quality of these napkins and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an everyday alternative to paper.

Great everyday napkin
Paper product prices have significantly risen during this pandemic, and they've been harder to get. Enough of store-hopping and paying extra when I find them. My kids are messy and they go through stacks of napkins and paper towels during meals.I'm not sure what standard other reviewers are holding these up to, but these are great for every day. They're well-cut, big enough to handle gross little faces, and easily run with my normal towel load. I even dry them on hot (line drying is recommended). Most food comes out without babying them, though I have a couple with mustard stains and one that appears to have been flooded with chocolate milk (I didn't bother to stain treat those, apparently.)If you do not care to iron your napkins into starched-looking bishop's hats, these will work for your family. If you do, they will suffice, like the little black dress of fabric napkins. And importantly, you can feel a little more civilized while eating with small children.

I waited to review these...
Till I'd used them awhile. These are exactly what I wanted and needed!- The material has a nice feel, not stiff or slippery.- They fold up nicely, even without ironing. They'd look awesome if I took time to do that, but sorry, I just don't choose to iron them. Even without ironing, I am not embarrassed to put them on the table.- They don't stain and they clean up nicely.- After many washings, they seem to be holding up.- These are great for casual or for a fancier dinner (when I might actually iron them; or else keep the lights low).

Nice napkins
These are a cotton blend, so they're somewhat softer than straight polyester napkins. I pre-washed them prior to use at a function at church. They are NOT wrinkle-free and needed to be ironed. My biggest gripe at this point is the plastic-y labels sewn into the hem - they shrivel when exposed to the heat of the iron, so I took some time to physically remove them. These napkins have not been used yet, so I don't know how stain-resistant they are (I'll let you know after the event).

Good every-day napkins
These seem sturdy and thick. They are slightly wrinkled when removed from the dryer, but smooth out fairly well as you fold them. However, someone who wants crisp-looking napkins will need to iron them. Personally, I don't bother. They are great as an ecologically-friendly alternative to paper napkins. As a test run, I subjected them to various onslaughts. My lipstick washed right out. All food stains washed out without stain-remover except for spaghetti sauce. That left a pale-orange stain. Not a huge deal to me except, in the future, I'll probably still use paper napkins when eating spaghetti.

meh
I thought these were going to be great but they're not that great. they seem to be a magnet for lint- which drives me insane. They are not perfectly square mine seem to have been cut a bit funky. Haven't really used them much because of these reasons. When folding them for certain designs they must be precise and these are- meh. If you LOVE cloth napkins then shell out a few extra bucks- otherwise these are o.k.
