For years I have been cooking with 2 Calphalon skillets that I loved, until that love died. In the last few months the skillets resembled a really bad relationship. The became clingy, possessive, unable to let go of my food. I realized it was time for a breakup. Since Prime Deals had begun I started to shop for a replacement. I found a Seller that was offering 2 ceramic Calphalon skillets at a very attractive price so I immediately added them to my shopping cart. I did not check out that night since there were other items I needed to order the next day. When I returned to my shopping cart the Calphalon skillets were no longer there, something about the Seller not offering them at that price anymore. Life has taught me that, in a situation like that, rather than be upset about not getting what you want, chill out and allow the Universe to give you what you may need! So I started to search through other Prime Deals and I came across this skillet. I always read the reviews, good and bad, to get a real perspective about the product. (By the way, shoppers, just because a certain item clashes with your decor is no reason to give it a 1 star rating. Just saying.) The fact that it included a lid really appealed to me so I took a leap of faith and I ordered 2 of them, this one and another 8 inch one. They arrived yesterday and I read the instructions that were included (you know, reading the instructions before using a product can be quite useful. I should do it more often.) I hand washed both skillets last night and allowed them to dry on the dish rack.Tonight I went of a "first date" with the 11 inch one. Again, following instructions, I cooked some chicken breasts with fresh garlic and peppers. As they were cooking they were easy to move around with nothing sticking. I was able to get a nice browning on them without much effort. And you know those nice crusty, crispy bits that accumulate at the bottom of the pan as you are cooking, they came off without a problem! I know this is only "a first date" and I should not really judge it completely based on this one experience. But let me put it this way, I am looking forward to our next encounter.So, when you get this package you will receive a skillet, a glass cover and a bonus gift. The skillet comes without the handle attached. But this manufacturer planned ahead for this small inconvenience and has included a very good Philips screwdriver so you can attach the handle yourself. (Honestly, I had never in my life seen a manufacturer include a good hand tool with their product. Oh, sure, Ikea will include a very simple Allen wrench to put their furniture together but nothing like the quality of this screwdriver. Should anyone come across a product that is shipped with a pair of needle nose pliers, please give me a shout out. I am in the market for a pair of those.)I am liking this skillet, so far. It has good weight to it and I really like the wooden accent to the nob and handle. With these 2 skillets I vow to follow the instruction (read the instructions, people, it helps) and hopefully I will have a good pair of skillet for years to come. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking to get a small pan and lid ASAP because my favorite omelette pan kicked the bucket after years of use. I was also looking for non-stick coating w/o PFAS and heavy metals and ran into this option.Durability:The pan is sturdy and looks durable.Quality:The quality is very good (will update if needed in a few months of use). Arrived well-packed with a screw driver as listed in other reviews.Cook time:I cooked pancakes as soom as I washed the pan and put 1 screw to attach the handle to the pan. I did not use any butter or oil to grease the pan - just preheated it like you would stainless or cast, and started cooking. Heat distribution:Nothing was sticking and pancakes turned out beautiful due to even heat distribution I love it so far.

Very impressed with this 10” frying pan. Noticeably even pan heat distribution on small or large electric coils or induction coils - even in spite of often unnecessary high heat stove settings. The aluminum pan core carries the heat throughout the pan, reducing hot spot burning in spite of coil contact on the steel base plate. The ceramic coating is clean and appealing. Sticky or caramelized foods wipe off easily. The wooden ergonomic pan handle is easy to use, fits well, stays cool, and is very attractive. The glass pan cover includes a wooden knob matching the handle.Frequent use over time will give more information regarding the pan’s scratch resistance and durability. I plan on using my silicone spatulas in this pan (no scouring required) to make sure the surface remains pristine as long as possible in spite of frequent use!

My fried eggs cooked without sticking ! We own chickens and cook fresh eggs often. The eggs kept sticking to our stainless frying pan. We decided to try this granite coated frying pan and so far, we are very happy with it. I am very picky about having a coating in my cookware. I am hoping this Swiss granite is a safe option. We purchased the 12.5 size frying pan and I am finding it is too big and heavy for me. I am a small frame person. I am going to order a smaller size.

This pan quickly became my go-to for daily meals. It heats evenly, doesn’t warp, and the surface is truly nonstick—eggs and pancakes slide right off. Cleanup is effortless, and the handle stays cool while cooking. It feels durable and well-made, perfect for everything from sautéing vegetables to searing meat. Great value for the price—I’d happily buy another and recommend it to anyone.

I am in absolute love with these pans. The look of pans are very pretty and the wood accents really accentuate the look of the pans. The only thing is you have to be careful if you have a gas stove to ensure the flame is not next to the handle or you will ruin it. The pan itself it easy clean up and the heat distribution along with durability is top notch. I love the color as my entire kitchen is oyster and cream colored. The pans are very pretty !

This is a great little frying pan (8"). I love it. When it came it was in pieces, meaning the fry pan was not connected to the handle. The handle was packed separately in the box. After I pulled that out, I saw a screw sticking out from where you would attach the handle. So I thought now I have to go get a screwdriver to use. But lo and behold there was a screwdriver in the box as well. And not just anyone, but a very nice one that I can keep. So then I unscrewed the screw and put on the handle. It worked perfectly. I have not had an opportunity to use this fry pan yet, but I also bought a larger frying pan (12") from this set and I have used that one. They are both lovely. I am very happy with my purchase.
