1 Major fault
There is 1 major fault with the design. My hamster prefers to chew on the wood of the walls instead of the toys which has resulted in her cutting her mouth on one of the nails in the tray as shown. Also if you use hay/sawdust, you're going to get a lot of access over the edges of the tray which then falls onto the surface underneath. Which means having to pick up the cage and clean the surface beneath.Thirdly I think the roof/lid could be improved with more concentrated wiring as my hamster is able to chew on it by fitting her nose through the large gaps.Lastly the hide-away/bed on the top floor is no 'hide-away' without a roof/cover.Overall, a wooden home is an excellent home for any hamster without teeth ♥
