Lo que más me sorprendió es su tamaño; es enorme en comparación a mis expectativas. Esto no fue problema para mí, ya que cuento con suficiente espacio para él. Cuenta con dos velocidades; en principio pensé que la falta de una tercera velocidad sería un problema, pero después de probarlo me retracté. La primera velocidad es silenciosa, y empuja bastante aire para situaciones de calor moderado. La tercera genera algo de sonido, nada molesto, pero empuja mucho mas aire. Si regresas al trabajo del calor agobiante del exterior y necesitas mucho aire en el momento, este ventilador te saca del apuro en medio minuto.Para los que tengan duda, es AC (se conecta a una toma de corriente de 110v en la pared). El cable mide aproximadamente 1.8 metros. Las aspas son bastante resistentes, antes de recibirlo pensé que se dañarían con el tiempo, pero no es el caso; pueden permanecer años en perfectas condiciones.Fantástica compra, y como siempre, el servicio de Amazon México estupendo.Reseña Posterior (1 año de uso)Después de más de un año de uso, no hay cambios; excelente ventilador. I bought two of them for traveling. I like that it has a significant length of wire, I always have a fan on either side of my bed for circulation. They often scare housekeepers... until I shove my entire hand in there; usually yielding a snicker out of them. Not sure I would want this around little girls with long hair, would be scared their hair would get caught in it, as I am worried for my own hair... but the motor is weak, just enough to turn the fabric fins.I do recommend this product.

Save your money.I was looking for a small portable fan to take with while I volunteer at a Camp during the summer.It never worked straight out of it’s box.Foolishly I told a fellow volunteer that I found this. Thinking that it was ideal, he too ordered it. His never worked either.

Our office has piss-poor air circulation and west-facing windows, such that by the afternoon it gets quite hot. I had an old fan one of the staff gave me, but my eyes would dry out quite easily (even on low settings).A couple of ppl in my office used this fan so I thought I’d give it a try (despite my reluctance about its size). Turns out it’s great — keeps me cool (on the higher of the two settings) but doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. I couldn’t be happier.Plus I like the fact that the “blades” are weighted nylon, so you can stick your finger in them and not feel a thing. Even makes a cool noise, if you’re bored and need a distraction. 😬

Es un ventilador que inicialmente cumplió con mis espectativas lo recomiendo si lo usan unas horas al día. No es un ventilador de uso rudo para tenerlo encendido todo el día y la noche ya que a ese ritmo la cabeza al no estar fija en el aparato y este ya caliente termina hechando a perder la unión entre el aspa y el motor del ventilador. Pero fuera de eso me gustó mucho haberlo tenido me duró cerca de un año de uso excesivo asi que si es para uso de oficina se que no tendrán problema con el tiempo de vida del mismo

What a great little fan! Two speeds (which is great), and white noise quiet. Compact and weighty, the Vornado Zippi feels well-made. Stylish with a minimal footprint, it is small enough to keep on my desk while I work, yet powerful enough to circulate the air in my office.I love my ceiling fan, but with energy prices soaring, I will likely be using this small fan instead.

So far, this little fan has surpassed my expectations. I live in a very small apartment, and the Zippi is all I need to get a refreshing breeze going throughout the entirety. It even makes a bit of white noise (which I like). The size/shape of the base is just right for attaching (semi-)permanently to surfaces. I plan to affix mine to a window ledge, so that an angry gust of wind won't be able to pick it up and smash it.One drawback I can think of is that it is not remote-compatible. Toggling between "off," "low," and "high" is accomplished via a dial at the back. Another minor issue is that the soft cloth blades don't look as cool/retro as solid blades do. Not deal-breakers, but damaging to an otherwise perfect number of stars.

Muy bonito para una oficina pero desgraciadamente las aspas de tela no me convencen ya que le falta potencia de aire lo cual hace que te acerques un poco más de lo normal recomendado para lugares no tan calurosos

Moves a good amount of air and blades are fabric so not worried about fingers getting hurt. This is our second vornado product and they have always worked well for us

Wow, fast shipping and this is the absolute quietest perfect desk fan I can find. The extreme low noise of the fan blades is almost eerie lol...perfect desk fan and I'm not sure there's a better one out there for the price!

I use this fan on my desk at work. I barely hear it at all, so much so that I sometimes forget to turn it off at the end of the day. It cools me perfectly.

It's very quiet and yet move enough air. This little fan is heavier than I expected and it is really solid. It comes with a generous 3 year warranty. Love it so far!

Became noisy after a couple moths rattling.

I bought this fan because I am a massage therapist and I needed something for my treatment. Traditional fans are much too loud for a quiet treatment room.It's amazing. It's silent. It circulates the air in my room. I love it.
