Vaello Campos La Valenciana 50cm Enamelled Steel Paella Pan

Sturdy and came really quickly, well packed. Although it's a paella pan, I actually bought it to make frittata for 2 and I'd say it's a perfect size for that. I'm also going to try it for upside-down apple (or fruit) pie. I'd say it would make 4 regular (or 2 really huge) portions of that. Suitable for gas hob and oven, though of course the handles get hot in the oven, but that's normal and not a problem. Would recommend this product, and would absolutely buy again if needed.

I bought this purely because I fancied having a go at a traditional paella. there are so many conflicting recipes/videos out there I didnt know which one to follow. Not being a chef, I basically took a bit of advice from all of them , threw it all in and it turned out absolutely amazing. I even got two thumbs up from both kids, which is saying something when dad cooks.I was tempted to go for a 60cm pan in case we wanted to entertain friends aswell. But I settled for the 40cm enameled pan which is more than enough to feed 8 people. It cooks the paella to perfection. I used it over the barbecue to get a nice even heat source. When it came to cleaning it, well 2 minutes hot water soak and a quick whizz round with a brush and scourer, it came up like new.When it came out of the packaging initially i was a little concerned that the base was slightly convex meaning it had a low point in the middle which meant it could be spun round on its centre axis very easily which turned out to be a bonus when adding ingredients and stirring.I would highly recommend this product, it does exactly what I would expect it to and very well too.

I didn’t want to spend too much on paella pans as I couldn’t be sure how often I’d cook with them but I wanted to make paella having been to Palma last year. I think they’re great value for money, paella’s were delicious and provided the tasty crust (soccarat). It took a bit of extra scrubbing to clean up the pans.

Bought this as we had another family staying at the weekend and I wanted an easy but impressive dish to share. This pan was amazing - oohs and aaahs all round. And the food was good too! It did stick a tiny bit near the end, but I had read not to worry or to remove it, so we just left that bit on the pan and it came off easily in the washing. A real party piece - this will be my favourite thing for hospitality now!

Just what we wanted. Perfect. This is a large pan which really needs a paella burner under it. There is no way it will fit in a domestic oven, Sitting on a standard hob this is the same size. However, we will be using it to fry large quantities of noodle on a propane wok burner. It appears to be a quaality piece of kit. Arrived 5 days aheed of schedule. Only gripe is the packging. Ridiculouly huge

Used it for the first time and it was great! Made enough for about 6 people. You do need to keep an eye on th evoking process as this is a non stick pan which makes the rice nice and toasted, but can lead to a sticky mess if you're not careful. We love the pan

Love this and use it all the time. Had a few issues as there was a chip in the pan when purchased. However the supplier replaced it at no extra cost and I use it regularly. Easy to clean and has kept it's looks over time. I'd buy again.

Brilliant product. Cooked paella over the bbq last night and never had a better one. Non-stick (although you want a crust on the paella base) but some people don't enjoy that part. Really heavy duty and could see this becoming a family favourite on warm days.
