This is hands-down the best mascara I've ever used. It is unique in that it does an excellent job of both lengthening while also thickening. Often, it seems to be one or the other with mascara—but not with this one. Add to that the exceptional price point and long-wear and this mascara is exceptional.

I wore this at home on one eye ( I also got a new eyeliner and tried that on the other eye) and wore both on each eye to see if it fell. If it did, I would know which one made me look like a raccoon at the end of the day. To my surprise, none did. I even went to bed with them on and woke up with clean eyes. It is so easy to put on, lasts a long time, and has a nice texture. It is not waterproof because it washes off easily, and I mean easily, without looking like a raccoon when I got out of the shower. It made my lashes look so long with just one swipe. I used a second swipe, and that's all that is needed. The price is perfect. This will be the only mascara I will use from now on.

Good mascara for a good price. Makes lashes so long. But, after ordering a few times I noticed that one of them was not as fresh, kind of clumpier than the last two that I had ordered, so I took off a star for that. I will order again.

Worked real well for my old lashes. I even saw my tiny bottom ones show up and gain length & I haven't seen that happen for quite awhile. I'm a senior, wear brown & the color is rich enough to still show up dark, but looks OK. Washes off easy. Stays put all day for me. For the look, performance and value, this will definitely be my go to for mascara.

I'm ashamed of myself for not trying this mascara sooner. I really didn't think such an inexpensive product could work this well. I have been using better than sex for years, and it was great when the tube was brand new, but it dried out and became horribly flaky after a couple of weeks. This mascara performs every bit as well for a fraction of the price. It can go on a bit clumpy, but no more so than any other volumizing mascara. I recommend combing through with a lash comb or clean spoolie, but I would say that about any mascara.

My friend recommended Essence Mascara. I am blonde/gray and you can see my eye lashes. Once I put this mascara on my eye lashes stood out. Hubby could see them. I love that it is a good quality mascara for a great price. I have only used it once so far but I really like this mascara. No clumping no lashes sticking together. I gave it 5 stars because it is a great product and you can't beat the price.

I recently removed my lash extensions after having them on for almost a year to take a break from them so of course my natural lashes aren’t like they used to be. I went on the hunt for a new mascara, (the one I was using was L’Oréal lash paradise) and that one was just ok. I came across Essence and I read the reviews which were all pretty good so I decided to try. I have been using it and I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference. It truly makes my lashes look longer and fuller. I do like it but I don’t love it. Reason for that is that it smudges. I almost always have a little bit under my eyes sometime in the day while wearing it. Other than that, it would be perfect. I guess I just need to play around with some hacks to avoid smudging. The mascara is not too bad for $5.

Let me tell you! This mascara is wonderful! I am a 73 year old lady and I wear mascara daily. It makes me feel good and hopefully...look good too! Unfortunately as you age, your rear end gets bigger and your eyelashes thin out....but with this Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect mascara, your eyelashes pop! pop! pop!You can get a three pack for a mere $14.97. What a deal! That's like under $5 a tube. I purchased the black. I was amazed the first time I used this mascara! Everything that is said about it is true! Suddenly, with a few whisks of the brush, my eyelashes were full and longer and looking great!
