This product is excellent in every way. Before the pandemic I had my dark brown hair highlighted every three months or so. Now, instead of going to the hair salon, I have been using this Sevich hair shadow in Light Blonde to cover my roots. This shade blends nicely with my highlights and I am guessing any of the blonde shades would work. This product is very easy to use - you really can't mess up. It looks natural and stays in place until the next washing. I now have a bit of gray hair, which this product easily covers. I may never return to the hair salon, even post-pandemic. My hair is straight and shoulder-length. I use this product on my dry hair in the morning before work and I barely pay attention as I apply it - it's that easy and mistake-proof. I panic-ordered this at the beginning of the pandemic and am thrilled with it (it also makes dirty hair look clean). I sometimes use it after using a dry shampoo, and that works well, too. I highly recommend and have told all of my friends about this fabulous product. So glad I discovered it and panic-ordered it!

I have bleach blonde hair. My roots (level 7) were coming in and I wanted to wait a little while longer before another bleaching session. I bought the light blonde and it did absolutely nothing! Made my roots look like there was dandruff if anything! So disappointing.

Works well but it was a bit too light , I do recommend. It does cover my darker hairs until I get my color done

The color is great, but it doesn’t offered good coverage. It marginally lightens darker hair. If you’re using it to add highlights, you may be disappointed.

Wow! Due to coronavirus remote working, I haven’t been coloring my grey/silver roots. (Going on 5 months!) The only time it mattered (to me) were quick trips to grocery store and a few stops at Home Depot. Then, I had to take a photo for ID purposes. Eegads! Horrible! I ordered this dry shadow and the “leading” spray color (which was an awful yellow and I didn’t use). I was skeptical about THIS compact dry shadow, but it was/is PERFECT! So easy to apply with the attached applicator. It somehow made my silver streaks blend in with my blond and brown. I ended up leaving it on my hair for another two days - to see if it got itchy, which it never did! Where has this been all my life?!? This really extends the time between coloring roots, especially at hairline and parts. Fantastic!

I usually buy the Style Edit root touch up in the light blonde but the salon where I buy it has been out of it for quite a while. I decided to give this one a try and it's very similar! It's actually goes on a little lighter than the Style Edit light blonde which I like even better! But I do think the Style Edit is a little higher quality. Although this one costs less and I like the color better so it's a win win. Tip: I myself never just take the sponge and use it all over my roots. I section out pieces on top and blend it in. I'm already blonde and get platinum highlights, so I'm able to do it this way. It looks very natural! Has been a lifesaver during this pandemic. I will purchase again for sure!

Did not come with any applicator, and the product did literally nothing. No difference in my hair.

Did not work as well as advertised. Definitely does not cover roots as well as all the adverts claim on social media.
