D1 Pen refills fit in the tube!
Purchased this primarily so I could carry some extra D1 pen refills.7x D1 refills will fit, so if you're using Zebra D1 refills (JSB-0.4 or JSB-0.5) you can carry extras for your mulitpen with less anxiety about running out of ink or damaging loose refills. I did add a small circle of 2mm EVA foam to both ends to prevent possible tip damage.I don't think I would use the titanium toothpicks on my own teeth/gums. But I will use them for other things where I might reach for a dental pick/probe but want a smaller handle. It would have been nice if a small lanyard was included instead of the keyring, but that's a minor issue and more of a me problem.

Great TI toothpicks and holder
These toothpicks are great, very well made and not extremely sharp. The holder can be opened on both sides, easy to clean. If you intend on using the holder for pills also, note that it's very small, most pills won't fit.I was able to carry these toothpicks on a plane, TSA didn't give me any problems. YMMV.

Weird little EDC pocket gadget
I love the little plastic toothpick in my swiss army knife. It's so miserable when you have that delicious brisket or chicken that leaves one stubborn sliver between your teeth. I got this thinking it would be great to keep in the car or bike tool kit for such occasions. It does the job, but I don't feel as good about using it as the plastic tooth pick in the knife. The metal picks are very sharp, more like heavy duty needles than toothpicks. If you have a reason for wanting three little heavy duty needles (without any eyes) on your person, this is your bit of kit. If you have sensitive teeth or a fear of poking yourself with a sharp object, not so much. I guess one could dull them a bit, or maybe dull one and leave the others sharp. By the way, both ends unscrew for easy cleaning. Retail is about $18 at the time of my review. I think that's steep. The capsule alone is nice, but there are better alternatives at the price.

Great product
I’ve only had this a few weeks, but am very pleased. I use it for toothpicks but can be used for other things. Very slim, doesn’t take up too much room in the pocket and appears to be quite durable.

A very light and decently durable tube with limited uses
This is a very slim, yet seemingly durable tube that seems perfect for a few things and terrible for everything else. For toothpicks, it is very light weight and holds a decent amount. For pills that fit into it, it makes the refill process much faster by opening at both ends. Keep in mind, there are not many OTC pills that fit. As for the toothpicks in the box, they are more likely to appear in a police report than in your mouth. They are quite sharp, which explains all the pictures implying them more as hors d'oeuvre spears. In my case, I have oval pills that I need to split in half when taking them and most tubes are just the right size that they sit diagonally and get jammed or get stuck in the end and shredded trying to unscrew the top. The full pills and split pills get easily mixed together and I have to dump everything out and try to organize them when it gets low. This being a much thinner container, there is no risk of them getting tilted. Having both a top and bottom opening also allows the split ones to be on the bottom and full pills to be inserted into the top.One issue that is quite common with this product is the fine threading. It can easily miss and feels like you will break the end or strip it. This requires carefully lining up the end to screw it back on and gets a bit frustrating. The worst part is thatThe price hardly justifies the use, though. I wanted titanium because one of the items on the same key ring happens to be a decently powerful magnet, so I can't use steel. I also have quite a few items on my keys and have grown quite fond of the light weight of titanium. If all you need to do is carry some toothpicks or pills and don't have as many restrictions, this is a complete waste of money. In the right situation, though, it may be worth it.Edit: After a very drawn out conversation with the manufacturer and multiple misleading and contradicting statements, I found that the ring I received did not match the one shown in the listing or any other review. This means it was likely already tested out. Being toothpicks, that is an unsettling thought. I highly recommend washing this item immediately if you decide to use it. As for me, the trouble I went to uncovering the truth with the horrible support the seller provides swayed me into a return.
